When I first moved to Louisville I worked at a photography studio. While I was there I had the privilege of meeting a very wonderful person, Kim McClellan. I guess she liked me because she asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding. Bryon and I at the time were just dating and of course he was my date to the wedding. This is where the friendship of Kim and JR with Bryon and I blossomed! We have stayed in touch although we no longer work together and we (Bryon and I) have enjoyed their (Kim and JR) company any time we can get together.
With Kim and I working together I was able to assess that she definitely had a knack for photography plus a great personality. So of course when it came time to get maternity pictures, although I was VERY wary of getting them due to the immense amount of stretch marks- she is the one that I asked to do them.
After letting many weeks pass the time came when I actually had get the pictures taken. I was very nervous, mostly because of my stretch marks. Kim, JR, and Bryon did the best they could to calm me down. The pictures that Kim ended up getting didn't portray a hint of nervousness-, which provided that much more testimony to her talent. The pictures truly turned out wonderfully.
Bryon and I had a few conversations concerning baby pictures for Zoey and how we wanted to go about getting them. Most of the time you see naked baby pictures that are taken a few days to a few weeks after they are born. I have never been pregnant before and therefore I've never had a child but all of the women that I have talked to have seem to go on and on about how magical the moments directly after their child's birth truly is. I wanted that moment to be captured... not the birth itself but I wanted to have a picture of Zoey when she was still messy from the womb, of Bryon's expression when he first saw her, of the first time Bryon held her.....
I wanted real pictures... pictures that weren't posed or fake... pictures that actually captured the LOVE in our eyes for our baby girl... that captured the tears of JOY as we looked at her...
so again I asked Kim to take the pictures... She captured those moments and much more!!
Many of the pictures that we have put on here were taken by Kim. I wanted to be sure and give her the credit she deserved.

Thank you Kim and JR!! Bryon and I love you guys and so will Zoey!!
